the house book by the one and only terence conran at the thrifts last weekend. 400 pages of great blast-from-the-past interiors. first published in the mid-70s in the u.k., it was a sensation. filled with european interiors, advice about home planning and decorating, from hardware to attic living. this edition was reprinted in the u.s. in 1983. "a volume of unprecedented elegance and sophistication," says the inside flap. thought i'd share some of my favorite pages with you here.
