i heart this kind of tomboy-ish, masculine style. it's so simple, preppy and relaxed. i have a little board on pinterest to collect outfits like these. i consistently try to capture this type of crisp, effortless style myself (but always feel like i end up looking shlumpy instead of put together).

i like the vibe going on over at citta design, a new zealand home accessories design house that has great style. especially loving the bedding and pillows. nice lived-in vibe, too.

happy monday! how was your weekend? we hung out with my mom/tom (my shortcut code for my mom and her boyfriend tom) on saturday and then sunday was mine and steve's six year anniversary! we went to stillwater + hudson for a thrifting/antiquing extravaganza and here is my sweet score: a kaj franck/finel mushroom bowl! yessss! it looks right at home on my open shelving in the kitchen with the catherineholm bowls. ferns print is by groundwork.

rabbit in a hat

we saw the illusionist (or l'illusionniste) a few weeks ago at our favorite local theater. lovely story, if not a little sad. i particularly enjoyed the animation, especially of edinburgh and the countryside. have you seen it? what did you think?
